umliegende Ebenen, umgebener Raum
Suspended from the ceiling hangs a canvas of raw fabric; on the floor, the same fabric wraps around a foam surface where visitors may lie down. From this position, the drawings can be observed up close—almost like gazing at a constellation. The work holds a duality: on one hand, it feels light and comforting; on the other, the looming weight of the structure and the physical effort required to crawl beneath it evoke unease. This tension—between comfort and fear, intimacy and hostility—mirrors the legacy of a history marked by silence, oppression, and its lingering consequences.
