TURBO LAND

TURBO LAND is an 16 pages zine, published by windpack books and printed in riso two colours. This print includes three unfinished projects that work as a fictional archive. It explores social smoothing mechanisms that allow an aesthetic experience of cities and daily routines. Thus showing how rules of avoidance are often resisted and even leveraged to change what counts as disgusting, abominable, necessarily invisible, and wrong and to make space for often devalued social positions, showing how systems of power are never complete nor monolithic.
